SYMPTOMS
========
In Cardfile, you choose Insert Object from the Edit menu and then select
Paintbrush Picture for the object type. When you choose Update from the
File menu in Paintbrush, the following error message appears:
This Cardfile document can only be updated when you exit Paintbrush.
This problem occurs whenever you use a 32-bit Windows-based application for
the OLE server (Paintbrush in this case).
STATUS
======
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S.
Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. For
information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
